"Its rapid fire comedic delivery, deft slapstick interludes and surprisingly tender, heartfelt moments of comradeship and togetherness make for a wonderful night at the theatre, and is sure to stay with you long after you’ve left the Reservoir behind." Theatre People "It is rude, crude ... but it is also hilariously funny ... a crazy laugh a minute show" Absolute Theatre "A very funny but sometimes shockingly brutal portrayal ... small in scale but is most definitely big in entertainment" Blue Curtians "Energetic, accessible and packed full of humour ... The cast of four give it their all and have nothing left in the tank by curtain call" Stage Whispers
Full of night-on-the-town tales told by the men who stand at the door, Bouncers is the most hilarious spit-fire comedy you’ll ever see in four suits.
The historic underground Spring Hill Reservoir will be transformed into a pumping club where four poker-faced gents play out a crude carnival of night life.
Lucky Eric, Judd, Les and Ralph are the original men in black as they tell the tales of a night at the club – the obnoxious teenage jocks, the girls stumbling on their high heels, the sleezy DJ, the late night kebab, and the roller-coaster taxi-ride home.
Bouncers turns the night you’d rather forget into a uproarious night you’ll always remember.
