19 July – 3 August
Spring Hill Reservoir

Written by Henrik Ibsen
Adapted and directed by Michael Beh
Presented by heartBeast Theatre, in association with The Curators

"A spectacle that could rival any horror in Greek tragedy."
The Independent

Originally banned from performance when it was first written in 1881, Ghosts has come to be considered one of the greatest plays ever written. Henrik Ibsen rips through the plastic wrapping of society to expose the archetypal truths about life and living. In this reknowned play, ghosts take many forms, proving that grief and loss are much more frigthenening to deal with than the threat of death.  What is harder is to live.

Set in the Gothic vault that is the Spring Hill Reservoir, heartBeast and The Curators production of Ghosts! is a gripping decent into horror.

Featuring acclaimed local artist Lisa Hickey in the central role of Helene Alving, and Tom Coyle as Pastor Manders.
