Jane Schon


Jane has been performing in theatre for almost 13 years. She began
training in dance at age 4, began acting lessons at age 12, and has
continued to refine her skills through private vocal lessons and Acting
Technique courses in the NIDA Open Program. She made her theatre debut
in Beenleigh Theatre Group’s 2004 production of Annie, going
on to perform in countless musical theatre productions and plays such as
Bugsy Malone, Mack and Mabel, Seven Brides for Seven
Brothers, Pirates of Penzance, A Farewell from the
Hill, The First – an ANZAC tribute to the first Australian
Imperial Force (AIF), The Taming of the Shrew and
Oliver! (performing the role of Nancy and assisting as a
Choreographer). Most recently, Jane was Assistant Director and an
ensemble member in BTG’s critically acclaimed production of RENT.
This is Jane’s second time performing with heartBeast Theatre. She
joined the company on stage last year in their production of King
Lear , taking on the role of Cordelia.
